The situation on COVID-19 in Serbia is monitored and checked daily.
Here you can get acquainted with all the details you need to cross the border and stay in Serbia.

Information on coming to Serbia during the COVID-19 virus epidemic

According to the recommendation of the Crisis Staff for the protection of the health of the population from the infectious disease COVID-19, from May 6, 2021, citizens of the Republic of Serbia who live abroad, where they have been properly vaccinated, can enter the country without restrictions. Foreign citizens who have been fully vaccinated, with a vaccination certificate from Serbia, have the opportunity to enter Serbia without PCR test and quarantine.

Complete vaccination involves two doses of Pfizer, Sputnik V and Sinofarm vaccine. Since Astra Zeneca currently has only one dose, it is assumed that one dose is on par with these three vaccines that require double immunization.

For the purpose of protection against the spread of infectious diseases on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, as of 14 January 2021, persons coming to the Republic of Serbia from all countries of the world, except the Republic of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Northern Macedonia, and Montenegro, are allowed to enter the Republic of Serbia only if they have a negative SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR test not older than 48 hours, issued by the reference laboratory of the country from which they are coming, i.e. from which they enter the Republic of Serbia.

From April 30, 2021. vaccinated citizens of Serbia will be able to enter Hungary without PCR test and mandatory quarantine, and the same will apply to vaccinated Hungarian citizens coming to Serbia. Hungary and Serbia accept and recognize all vaccination certificates of our citizens, regardless of the type of vaccine with which they were vaccinated.

Persons coming from the USA are allowed to have, under the same conditions, a negative Antigen FIA Rapid test instead of a negative RT-PCR test.

If there is a delay in entering the Republic of Serbia, where fault cannot be attributed to the passenger, but is a consequence of an external event that could not be predicted, avoided, or eliminated (flight delay, bus/train departure delay, etc.), then the test cannot be older than 72 hours when entering the Republic of Serbia.

Citizens of the Republic of Serbia and foreign citizens who have been granted temporary residence or permanent residence in the Republic of Serbia, who are arriving from all countries in the world, except from the Republic of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Northern Macedonia, Montenegro and Hungary, and do not have negative SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR test issued by the reference laboratory of the country from which they are coming or entering the Republic of Serbia, i.e. persons coming from the USA not having a negative Antigen FIA Rapid test not older than 48 hours from the date of issue, will be given a written notice during passport control – a health warning about the obligation to comply with the 10-day home quarantine measure from the date of crossing the state border, and warned about the obligation to report to the competent COVID clinic or territorially competent public health institution, within 24 hours from crossing the state border, via electronic application to the electronic address: www.e-zdravlje.gov.rs
